The School Bus Stop Project
In the Fall of 2010 a Deacon at Southside recognized a need at a neighborhood that he passed on his daily trip to work. He kept seeing the children of this neighborhood standing in the cold and rain waiting on the school bus to pick them up. He and a group of volunteers decided to build these kids a covered bus stop so they would be out of the elements while waiting on the school bus. Below are some pictures of the days events.
