Southside Baptist Church participates annually in the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

International Missionaries at Southside:

In 2009, Southside had one of it's Youth answer God's call on her life to be a Missionary. When she graduated high school in 2009 she applied for a 1-year internship with Thrive Africa and was accepted. In January 2010 she stepped out on Faith, as well as stepping onto a Jet Airliner bound for South Africa, where she spent more than 10 months spreading God's word and sharing God's love.

International Group Mission Trips:

Southside sends a team annually to Piedras Negras, Mexico to help add space to the church there. We also train church leaders, and witness to the lost people of the city. You can see pictures of the 2010 trip HERE. You can also watch a short video of the trip HERE.

We also send a team annually to Guatemala, where we have partnered with a church over the past several years to develop and train church pastors.
