Missions at Southside 

Southside Baptist Church's mission is to reach our city, state, country and world with the Gospel of Christ. This is a mission our church takes to heart.

Our church, through the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention, supports mission projects through giving to the following Mission Offering in-gatherings:

    Mary Hill Davis Offering - Texas State Missions.
    Annie Armstrong Easter Offering - North American Missions.
    Lottie Moon Christmas Offering - International Missions.
 

At Southside we believe that effective mission work doesn't end with our financial giving to missions, but rather begins there and then steps out on faith in going to the mission field around our city and around our world.

Whether it is a Neighborhood ministry team distributing cookbooks, passing out light bulbs and sharing their faith in a neighborhood near our church campus, a group of youth serving God on the Mexican / U.S. Border, or a men's group working deep in the heart of the Guatemalan Mountains, Southside is truly a mission-minded Church.
